As you know, Constantine's first movie, which belongs to DC but is one of the characters of the universe that was previously called Vertigo, now DC Black Label, was released in 2005. The second of the movie, based on the comic book series Hellblazer, seems to be coming.
Peter Stormare who plays the character of Lucifer, another important character of the universe in the movie released in 2005, announced that the second film was being worked on through his personal Instagram account. Unfortunately, no details about the movie have been shared. There is currently no affirmation from anyone else but it would be pointless for Peter Stormare to explain something like that out of nowhere.
There were already rumors that the film was being worked on and that it was wanted. Therefore, the probability of a sequel to come was quite high, especially at a time when Keanu Reeves was famous.
The film released in 2005 is directed by Francis Lawrence. The cast included names such as Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz, Djimon Hounsou, Shia LaBeouf, Max Baker, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Peter Stormare, Tilda Swinton and Francis Guinan.
