HBO gives green light for The Last of Us
The series adaptation of Naughty Dog's popular and successful video game series The Last of Us was given the green light from HBO. Studies are starting.

HBO gave the green light to the series adaptation of The Last of Us, developed by Naughty Dog, one of the most popular and successful video game series on PlayStation.
The series adaptation of The Last of Us series, which won the likes of many players with both its first game and its second game was announced in the past months. Almost all of the technical staff of the series had been announced and the work had begun. However, HBO the channel where the series will be aired officially did not give an approval for the series.
Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter's report HBO gave the green light for The Last of Series. It is unknown how many seasons he gave approval, but production of the series will begin soon. We will also learn about the cast and story details in the near future.
Neil Druckmann, the creative director of Naughty Dog, and Craig Mazin, creator of the Chernobyl series, will co-produce and script the series. The soundtrack of the series will be made by Gustavo Santaolalla, who also made the soundtrack of the game.
