As The Mandalorian series continues to air on Disney Plus, two new Star Wars productions are on the way. We have previously stated that the series, which is about the story of Obi-Wan Kenobi, will begin shooting in 2021. This time, preparations have begun for the spin-off series that focuses on the character Cassian Andor in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Diego Luna, who interviewed Jimmy Kimmel, announced that he was in London for a mini production. When Kimmel talks about Disney Plus and Lucasfilm, "They are my friends, yes." He made statements in the form.

Speaking of where Rogue One took place in the Star Wars timeline, Luna said, "This is a weird thing, actually there is everything you need to know to understand Rogue One. The show is about the story of my character. But if I say so, I think I can spoil the ending." said. When Kimmel said that Rogue One has already given its final end, he said, "Yes, we did it successfully. It was great. It's nice to get into a story you already know the ending. Then you can deal with the little nuances and all the layers. It's more fun to do something that isn't about reaching the end." made statements.
What we know about the show is limited at the moment, but even knowing that the show is in the making is really exciting. Additionally, we know that Alan Tudyk is back as K-2SO and Genevieve O'Reilly as Mon Mothma. In addition, the cast includes famous names such as Stellan Skarsgard, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller. This news increased our chances of watching the series in 2021. Until the Cassian Andor series airs, we will fulfill our Star Wars longing with The Mandalorian. There are only two episodes left for his second season to end.
